  • The BMI of the patients who will be treated should be below 40. In other words, it is applied to individuals who cannot lose weight with diet and exercise, whose BMI is between 27-35 and over 10-20 kilos. At this point, patients who are overweight but not obese enough for surgery and who want to lose weight are the ideal patient group.
  • In patients with gastric ulcer or gastritis, stomach botox can be applied after appropriate treatment of these diseases.

How is stomach botox applied?

Botox is injected through an endoscopy (gastroscopy) application that provides a detailed internal view of the stomach. Therefore, the patient’s discomfort is only a “gastroscopy”.

Since the filler is applied laparoscopically to the stomach, there is no need for any preparation required by surgical procedures. The tube with a camera at the end of the device is given to the patient with sedation medication before the endoscope is given orally to the stomach.

After the device is placed in the stomach and the stomach image is taken, botox is injected into the application areas. After an application period of 15-20 minutes, the patient is awakened. The patient is discharged after 1-2 hours.
